How do you know you are a geek?

Birds of a feather flock together. People of like mind, similar interests, similar skills normally have what we call something in common. People with something in common would normally gather together in some format or other. They would have common topics to discuss. Things to compare and stuff to show off. But what makes you a geek. Rather how do you know that you are a geek.
I have just finished watching the X-Men trilogy on DVD. Again. Its Sci-Fi, Fantasy, futuristic. It has cool graphics and special effects. As I was watching I was sitting there thinking to myself that this is such a “Geeky” thing to do. I was wondering how many geeks enjoyed X-Men or perhaps even own X-Men DVDs.
Traditionally geeks have always seemed to bee the timid, skinny guy with brains and nothing else. You can notice him (her) by his geeky glasses, drab clothes, lack of fashion, untidy hair style and always carrying some kind of gadget. They normally don’t play sport except for things like chess. A geek dual is the fastest to solve the Rubik's cube. You hardly see geeks with girlfriends, or many friends for that matter.
But with the spread of computers, internet, gadgets and technology in general, geeks come in all shapes and sizes now-a-days. Wikipedia explains geek such:
“The word geek is a slang term, noting individuals as a peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is perceived to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, etc. This word comes from English dialect geek, geck: fool, freak; from Low German geck, from Middle Low German. The definition of geek has changed considerably over time, and there is no longer a definitive meaning. The terms nerd, dweeb and dork have similar meanings as geek, but many choose to identify different connotations amongst these terms, although the differences are disputed.A person who is interested in technology, especially computing and new media. Geeks are adept with computers, and use the term hacker in a positive way, though not all are hackers themselves.”
The question is then, are you a geek, nerd, dweeb, dork or any other Sci-Fi, Technoboff, Intelli-jelly or any other so called term? How do you know? As I mentioned earlier, we geeks seem to have a few things in common. Besides computers, Internet, Facebook, Programming etc, a lot of geeks have this affinity towards everything Sci-Fi. So I was wondering, if you like movies or collect DVD’s which DVD’s would you own. I was wondering how many geeks own similar or the same DVD’s. Here is my list. Why don’t you make one yourself and post it here. IT would be interesting if nothing else.
Some of the DVD’s I have and like.

WOW! Not really a collector of movies. I do have the Lord of the Rings Box Set and the Tintin Box set. Waiting for the Harry Potter Box set to come out. Rather not list my few DVD's I have. Use to be a bit of a mad reader, but got rid of most of the books. Do enjoy my science fiction, but as pure entertainement. Doubt if I will buy the DVD. Also big Stargate fan. They have running the series for a few years on SKY One now, so have seen the whole lot, even the very last one. Atlantis offspring was not as good as the Original series. By Rustig on

I haven't got much, but I am a TV show freak. Got all the Grey's Anatomy shows, love my collection of Supernatural and of course, no collection would be complete without the entire series of Friends. By Tiny on

I know you can buy from Amazon UK. Not sure if they still deliver in SA. Do you buy individual DVD's or Box Set of Stargate?
