Talent is often found in the most unlikely places, and often the most unlikely persons have the most talent. Such is the case with Susan Boyle, who at the age of 48, decided to audition for "Britain’s Got Talent"
When she came on to the stage, the judges were unimpressed. The crowd were laughing. It was going to be another embarrassing moment. (Watch The Video)
But as soon as she opened her mouth and began to sing, the judges were flawed. Simon Cowell literally had is mouth hit the floor. Piers Morgan was amazed and shocked. Amanda Holden had tears in her eyes. The crowd erupted in a roar of acceptance. At the end both judges and audience gave a standing ovation. (Watch the embedded video at end of post)
My wife even had tears after watching. What a fantastic performance. The biggest YES ever given on the show. Judges called it incredible, the biggest shock they have ever had.
Susan Boyle who appeared on last Saturday’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ had become an International superstar!
Susan Boyle performed a rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables in the first round of the third series of Britain's Got Talent, on 11 April 2009. This performance was so amazing that it became viral as a video of her singing was viewed by tens of millions of people on the website YouTube. In fact it soon reached and surpassed the 20 million views. Susan Boyle was shocked and amazed by the strong reaction of her performance and of the strong internet interest.
The 48 year old charity worker from West Lothian has gained over 19million views of her singing ‘I Dreamed A Dream,’ on You Tube! That’s incredible! Even Hollywood superstars Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are raving about her on Twitter!
After her astonishing performance on Britain's Got Talent, Susan Boyle was a guest on STV's The Five Thirty Show. She was also interviewed via satellite on CBS's Early Show and ABC's Good Morning America and via a telephone interview on FOX's America's Newsroom. According to Simon Cowell, Susan Boyle had received an invitation to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Simon then predicted that if she did appear on Oprah that "there's every chance Susan Boyle will have the number one album in America".
On Monday, 20 April A surprise package was dellivered to Susan Boyle's door. A Job Offer to star in a movie alongside Cyndi Lauper. read it.
