How many social networks do you belong to? Each one of them encourages you to upload a picture of yourself to your profile. Problem is, each social network uses different custom sizes from the other.
You could use a graphic program to resize your picture to suite each particular social network’s needs or you could use mypictr.
For example Twitter size might be 48x48 where as Facebook’s size might be 200x250
“A smart web app called mypictr provides a free picture resizing service, which allows you to create a custom profile avatar for your favourite social network. You don't need to install any programs, plug-ins or any other software, just upload your picture, resize it online and download it from our server.”
mypictr is a free service, nada, no charge. Also for privacy concerns your uploaded picture is not saved onto their servers. You have approximately 10 minutes to download your resized picture before it is deleted.
mypictr has over 20 different social networks with different sizes catered for. It also allows you to input a custom size should you need to. When done, you can either download the resized avatar/picture or have it emailed to you. Neat.
