My Free Christmas Gift To You

Oh I love Christmas. It’s the season to be jolly. It’s the season of giving. It’s the season of being thankful.
Christmas, for many is just a commercial season where they make the most of their yearly profit. But for me it’s about giving and making people happy.
We are able to give because God gave the perfect gift of his Son. That’s why we celebrate Christmas.
Christmas and Blogging
Christmas and blogging have a few things in common. In my mind at least. You see I believe that blogging is all about your readers. It’s about giving. Giving of knowledge time and expertise.
It’s about giving recognition, about giving back links. If your blog is all about what you can get out of your readers then I believe you’ve missed the boat.
Change your tactics, start giving. Give away knowledge, give away free e-books, give away what ever you can to make another blogger happy. To give him or her the tools to succeed.
Recognise and Give
So in that free Christmas spirit I am going to give you guys and gals a free Christmas gift. Now I don’t have much. But then again, it’s not the size of the gift that counts.
But in order to qualify you have to be able to do something as well. Give to others.
So here is the deal. I am going to give away 5 free ads on my blog. Yes that’s right, 160x160 free ad space for a week. Merry Christmas everyone!
So what do you have to do? you say, well if I have to do anything then it’s not free. Well you do not have to do anything for yourself. What I would like you to do is in the comments below, recognise a fellow blogger and supply his or her blog address in the comments.
Why is this particular blogger special to you? Why should others recognise them and follow them? How have they helped you in your effort to blog. It’s time that you and I give back.
Then I will choose the best 5 comments and those will be the recipients of the free ad space.
Then starting on Christmas day, through to New Years day your add will run.
I will notify you via Twitter, so please leave your Twitter address if I do not already have it. Then be sure to follow me, as I cannot DM you if you do not. My Twitter id is @robertbravery.
Merry Christmas and God bless you all.
